Product Description

The Voice Activated Shower Head is a specially designed shower attachment featuring a temperature regulation sensor which incorporates the use of a microprocessor (programmed with voice recognition software) to enable users to set the temperature of the shower manually, as well as by voice command. The design intent is to offer users the convenience of setting a desired temperature without physically having to adjust the shower nozzle, thus providing a convenient means of enjoying an invigorating shower.

Design Features:

• The Voice Activated Shower Head is a specially designed mechanism to be attached to existing shower plumbing featuring an integrated temperature regulator equipped with a microprocessor programmed with voice recognition software. • Rectangular in shape and boasting a hard plastic waterproof casing, the Voice Activated Shower Head would be comprised of a simple electronic keypad to be installed in existing shower stalls which would enable users to adjust the temperature of water being dispensed from the shower head by simply pressing push-button switches, or giving audible voice commands. • The Voice Activated Shower Head would consist of a temperature sensor, integrated, electronically operated controlled valves, and a control unit. The control unit would be equipped with a microprocessor and associated components and circuitry and would control the operation of the Voice Activated Shower Head. • A flush mounted microphone would be positioned on the front of the unit, through which voice commands would be directed. The water temperature sensor could be installed in the pipe supplying water to a shower head, on the output side of the mixing valve and would be connected to the control panel via insulated, electrical wiring. • The water temperature, as measured by the sensor, would be displayed on a rectangular display screen positioned on the front of the control panel. This display could utilize light emitting diodes which are quite bright and readily discernible. • In addition to the LED panel, a number of push-button switches would be offered on the front panel of the control unit. These switches would be depressed to activate or deactivate the functions each switch controls. • The most notable aspect of the Voice Activated Shower Head is found in the integrated voice recognition software which makes it possible to change the temperature settings locally, by voice command. This software would be stored on a memory chip which is an integral part of the microprocessor. • Power would be supplied to the Voice Activated Shower Head by way of an internally contained battery, or this product could be connected to an existing electric power source.
